Engagements
An engagement session is a great opportunity for us to get together and get to know each other a little better. This allows me to show you how I pose, so that on your wedding day you will know exactly what to do! The great thing about engagement sessions is that we get to produce fantastic images for you before the wedding. These could be used for your save the dates or even your invitations. Many of our couples also use these engagement images at their wedding, which is a great idea. Even if you have never had professional images taken of the two of you, we promise to get you comfortable in front of the camera :)
Engagement sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the location and style you have selected for your session. The golden hour(s) for photographers are generally right before the sun goes down! If this time has to be changed, we are still confident we can produce wonderful images for you. We love ideas and suggestions for engagement sessions, even though we have a list of our favorites.

I have couples coming to the area for destination weddings and live far away that won't actually be here for an engagement session and this is totally fine! Normally when the couple arrives in town, we try and set up a time to meet in person, whether this is over coffee, tea, beer or wine. If the couple is up for it, we try an get a few images on a casual note. No worries either way, we will still produce amazing images for you on your wedding day.
