Wedding Day

Photographic coverage starts by shooting the bride's details: dress, shoes, jewelry, bouquet, etc. Having all of your special "details" ready to be photographed is a huge help and time saver!

One of the most important things to take into consideration for your "getting ready" location is the amount of light in the room. If the location does not have great light, we may ask if we can move your items to a better location with better light and photograph them. Another important note is to make sure the room is clear of clutter or things you may not want in the background of your getting ready images.

We LOVE the First Look. Yes, it is going against tradition but is growing rapidly as a new tradition. A First Look has a huge impact on your wedding photography timeline for the day and provides the opportunity for additional bridal portraits. It also makes the moment you see each other for the first time, an intimate experience that is truly about you. The First Look means only his eyes are on you. Benefits of a first look also include, having additional time for bridal portraits and getting to the reception earlier than usual.

Wedding Details

Something old, something new,
something borrowed, something blue,
and a silver sixpence in her shoe.

When choosing your details, ensure they are a personal reflection of you as a couple, and help tell your wedding day story.
Unplugged Weddings

It's entirely up to you whether you tell your guests to refrain from taking photos or videos or not. Just as a reminder, we cannot avoid having the people also taking photos in the photo we are taking! Once we finish the group photos (bridal party & family), then they are welcome to take as many as they like while we have everyone in one spot.
But, this is the most important thing to remember:

Your wedding day is focused solely on you two and should stay on you. Enjoy every second of this special day!
