Megan and Barrett are AMAZING!! We reached out to Megan about doing our engagement shoot and we knew from that first shoot that we wanted her to capture our big day. She and her husband work so well together and make the best team. They make sure to capture every moment beautifully and having 2 photographers allows them to capture different angles and candids that make for such great photos and memories! Megan and Barrett were so flexible in accommodating us on our wedding day. We had a crazy vision to have a morning wedding and two receptions with the day lasting well over 15 hours. They never complained and were so excited to be a part of our day. They are so relaxed and easy to work with. Taking pictures can sometimes be awkward, especially during such an intimate time as your wedding day, but Megan and Barrett never made us feel uncomfortable, but instead were super encouraging and able to laugh along with us! All in all, we can't recommend The Joyner Company enough. They are AMAZING and you won't regret working with them! They truly work to bring your vision to life and do an outstanding job of capturing all of the moments that you will be able to look back on for the rest of your life!!

Megan's photography first caught our eye with the crisp, quality timeless photos we saw on her website. We could tell she knew how to get the perfect shot. Little did we know, she would prove to capture the most incredible moments and provide us with the most wonderful experience. Prior to the wedding she was flexible with meeting up, and eagerly willing to receive"inspo" photos intermittently as we saw poses or styles that we wanted to re-create. When we sat down for our first meeting she walked us through the entire process, and gave valuable guidance on what photos we should aim to get so that certain moments wouldn't get lost in the flurry of the day. On the day of, her calming demeanor was the perfect presence to have alongside me, and her husband Barrett effortlessly accompanied the groomsmen making them comfortable with the camera. They know how to blend into the background to get the perfect candid shot, but also how to lead and guide from the front to coral a large wedding party into a tricky backdrop. They are such a great team! They had ALL of our photos back to us, edited, paired down and organized within a month and now we know what it means to truly re-live the day through the photos. They captured every important aspect of our rehearsal party and wedding day and we are so happy with the result. Highly, highly recommend for anyone who wants their wedding photos to be a tier above the rest.

Megan was so wonderful to work with! We had our engagement photos shot by her and could not be happier with the final product! I contacted her and asked if we could shoot within 5 days and she fit us in which was amazing! The. Since it snowed that day she worked with us on rescheduling immediately. Since it was so cold that day she even drove us from each location downtown in her car which was a lifesaver considering I was in a short dress. The photos are stunning and I had them in 5 days!!! Best experience ever!

They truly had an eye for capturing stunning candid moments and gave amazing direction to help capture our intimate portraits. We didn’t have a day of coordinator and with our wedding being out of town there were things that we weren’t prepared for and they were always there to help. They went above and beyond and if you didn’t know better you would have thought Megan was one of my longtime friends, helping me bustle my dress and even going to get me another cocktail. Whether you’re from the Wilmington area or coming from out of town, I would highly recommend them. Not only were they a big part of our day but now they will be part of our lives forever. Our only regret from an entire year of planning our wedding was not hiring Barrett as our videographer. If we could go back and do it again that would be the only thing we would have done differently.
